Modern Warfare 3 (Call of Duty)leaks online following theft



Next week’s eagerly awaited Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 release has been pre-empted as a stolen copy of the currently unlaunched game sparks piracy concerns.

Whilst the PC version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is to be shipped on two discs, it is believed just the second disc of the set has made its way online with the full campaign mode yet to leak in gameplay form. Earlier this year a number of leaks outted the title’s full list of achievements and campaign mode plot lines.

Set to hit stores across the world on November 8th the long anticipated Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 release date is to follow last Friday’s arrival of EA’s Battlefield 3 with 10 million copies of the COD rival reportedly shipped for launch.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 pre-order reports suggested the title which is to have levels set in New York City, Paris, Berlin and London has sold more than double the copies of Battlefield 3 brought prior to launch.
